Welcome! We are just over 2 years into our Texas State Park Quest (see About Us) and I figured it’s time to finally get this blog going.
We’ve been doing a bit of Instagramming thus far but here we will attempt to post more complete photo collections as well as short reviews of each state park, historic site, and natural area that we visit.
In addition to the TPWD locations we traipse through there is also quite a bit general Texas historical and touristical mayhem going on and we’ll be documenting that too (think: The Big Texan in Amarillo, the King Ranch Museum in Kingsville, myriad of little mom & pop restaurants, and more!)
